If you are following humanizing your long game from the tee or the fairway observe this critique of two fantastic fairway woods. The Taylormade two. tremendous quick Burner with its white head style and long shaft let for long length but can it be managed. Where the common developed JPX800 fairway provides possibly significantly less length with more management. Enhance your golf with the greatest golf devices.

if your having so much distress with the length of the burner i have the answer its this new thing called “choking up”.
JPX-800 3-wood is a tremendous club, whether your hitting from the deck or tee the ability to get the ball up in the air and get some carry distance is fantastic. When the ball makes contact with the face you can feel that compression in the ball (depends on ball) and takes off. I still continue to use the MP Titanium but there will come a day when the 800 makes it’s way into my bag. DON’T FORGET Mizuno went back to Exsar shafts for the 800 series.
i bought a burner 2.0 3 wood and like it from a low tee,wee bit wobbly off the deck unless i am swinging well, and it does hit it a long way!
Nice summary Mark. I had a driver fitting a few months back and tried out the JPX800 which I hit amazingly. I was so impressed by the club I also got fit for the 3W which over again was much better then my existing Yonex Nanospeed 3i.
I’ve sinced played many rounds with both of those and chose to upgrade my TM Burner Superfast hybrid to the JPX800 hybrid and over again it’s night and day.
With the JPX 800s I feel so much more confident and pleased standing over the ball and the performance is fantastic!
@MrJhill76 r11 suck,all hype!!

Could you make a video on the Taylormade Burner 2.0 irons and the Taylormade Burner 1.0 irons since i am thinking of buying the 1.0 irons and i want to know the differences
hey mark could you tell us about how far you hit so we can get an thought of how how far we hit our clubs compared to you that way when you say it goes really high or something like that people will be able to tell if it will be excellent for them or maybe they need something launching lower thanks and please respond
Marketing: Look in to the bags of pro’s and you’ll see a reluctance to exchange ancient trusted equipment for the new that their contracted brands are bringing to market. (Donald still on 62′s for example). Seldom do manufacturers bring anything truly game changing out and nobody NEEDS the latest 2.0 – 2.1 etc. Wait until the model is superseded (which in the case of TM takes about 3 months) then pay approx £100 per stick. Worthwhile and trustworthy review as always Mark, cheers.
The length is awfull and the grip sucks. Burner line sucks unless it is tp wich comes with tour velvets and it’s shorter. I finished up with ping woods and sold the taylormade
Thee. The length is from testing a basic principle which is longer lever quicker head you jerk-off. That means any club positioned on a longer lever will have higher swing speed. Question 90% of people buying the club if they knew it was longer and they will say no. TM doesn’t advertise the length difference just the distance increase. Hence marketing. Ps cobra did the white head first but place 0 dollars into MARKETING and it failed. TM paid and pays millions to market the white head. Clearly you need to
i argee, The Taylormade burner 2.0 is light, huge head fairway wood with a lot of control off the tie but with the long 47 inch shaft playing a fractor, its sometimes hard to bit off the turf. yeah the winn grip isnt that excellent either. I by no means hit the Mizuno JpX800 Fairway so idk. I got a r11 fairway wood.
@yankee76 Marketing trick? The length is from testing. The white head hype, people buy taylormade drivers/woods because they have proven for many years that they make the best. Fact that white head has only now just been released is baffling, i;ve always wanted a white head for years. People don’t waste money on taylormade drivers/woods, clearly you know nothing about the golf market >.>
Fantastic videos. Would it be possible in general when you’re responsibility you’re videos to show the ball when you’re hitting
hi mark, fantastic vids, would it be possible to compare the jpx fairway to the g20 fairway? thanks
@theman If you ” fix” the burner by cutting the shaft then it just becomes another 3 wood. The marketing trick with TM is the length. So why buy a Burner then pay to trim it and regrip it. You would save money by buying another strain and not buying into the white head hype.
I have a burner 2.0 three wood and I finished up a new Diamana shaft in it and regripped with a Multicompound now I like the club
could you do a review on the r 11 3 wood
So it seems the issues with the burner are the length and the grip. Seems like an simple fix. Trim the shaft and regrip the club. Simple fix to make it your perfect 3 wood.
I notice in my local golf shot there is alot of second hand burner woods y wud that b
I use the mx700 fairway woods and I like them off the deck and from the tee. Struggle to get high launch when hitting my 3 off the impose a curfew though
Nice review, Mark. Could you maybe do a review on the tp version of the burner fairway wood?
